The Print Reality Check
Don't print pixels. Print clarity.
How it works
Enter your image dimensions in pixels.
Set your desired print size in inches.
Choose the viewing distance.
See if your image will look sharp or pixelated.
Why it matters
300 DPI is a myth. You don't need 300 DPI for a wall poster because you don't look at a wall poster from 10 inches away. This tool calculates the effective quality based on how far away the viewer is standing.
DPI Standards
Book / Handheld: 300 DPI (12-18 inches)
Poster / Wall: 150 DPI (3-5 feet)
Billboard / Far: 30 DPI (10+ feet)
