This free random name picker draws one fair winner from any list you paste or from a number range. Type or paste attendee names, set the spin speed for suspense, and hit spin to select a single entry live. Fullscreen mode projects the draw on the big screen, so raffles and giveaways feel like a real event.

How it works

Choose between Names Mode (paste a list) or Numbers Mode (set a range).

Click "LOAD DRUM" to prepare the randomizer.

Adjust the spin duration for your audience (Quick/Normal/Dramatic).

Select a background color for fullscreen mode.

Click "SPIN" to start the selection animation.

The drum spins through options with a deceleration effect.

The final selection locks in with a subtle pulse.

Click the fullscreen button for maximum impact.

Click "RESET" to spin again with the same list.

Spin duration

The spin uses a three-phase deceleration with adjustable timing:

Quick: 2-second spin (fast-paced events)

Normal: 5-second spin (balanced suspense)

Dramatic: 10-second spin (maximum tension)

Questions people ask

Is it truly random?

Yes. Each draw uses the browser's built-in random number generator to pick one entry, and every name or number on your list has an equal chance. Nothing is weighted or pre-seeded, so a fresh spin can even land on the same winner twice, exactly as genuine randomness allows.

Can I draw multiple winners?

Yes. Draw one winner, then use New List to remove that name and spin again for the next. Each spin is independent, so keep drawing until you have as many winners as you need. For raffles, announcing them one at a time on the big screen keeps the suspense alive.

Does it store my list?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your names or number range never leave your device, nothing is uploaded to a server, and closing the tab clears the list. That keeps it safe for attendee lists, employee names, or any data you would rather not send anywhere.
