Instagram Line Break Generator

Line breaks that survive the post.

Instagram and TikTok collapse blank lines in captions, so the spacing you type vanishes the moment you post. This tool inserts an invisible character on each blank line, so the gaps stay put when the caption goes live. It runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Paste a caption, copy the spaced version, and post.

How it works

Every otherwise-empty line gets an invisible Braille-blank character (U+2800). It renders as nothing but still counts as text, so the app keeps the line instead of collapsing it. Your visible words stay exactly as you typed them.

Questions people ask

Why do my Instagram line breaks disappear?

Instagram, TikTok and similar apps trim lines that hold only whitespace when they render a caption or comment, so your blank lines collapse and the text bunches together. Putting a character on each empty line makes the line non-empty, so the app keeps it and your spacing survives the post.

Is this against Instagram's rules?

No. This is standard Unicode spacing. The invisible character is a normal, publicly documented character, not a hack, a bot, or anything automated or deceptive. You are only adding a blank character to your own caption, which apps handle the same as any other text you type.

Does it work for TikTok captions and bios?

Yes. The same technique works for TikTok captions and bios, and for most other apps that collapse blank lines, including LinkedIn, X, and messaging apps. Paste your text, copy the spaced version, and paste it wherever your blank lines keep disappearing.
