This is a very interesting graph about data such as CO2 emissons, GDP/capita, life expectancy, broadband subscribers, employment rate and a lot more (more than you can imagine). Data is available for most countries starting from as early as 1800. The cool part is that you can play around with the data. Do it, it gives some very interesting insights.
